  • Hilliard Art Museum - 710 E St Mary Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70503
    One of Louisiana's premier art museums, the Hilliard Art Museum offers a tremendous resource for art lovers in Lafayette. Open since 2004, the museum frequently hosts programs and exhibitions featuring internationally recognized artists, and has shown works ranging from Pablo Picasso to Andrew Wyeth. Located near the southeast corner of the University of Louisiana campus, the Hilliard Art Museum is near many Lafayette homes for sale. General admission is just $10. 

  • Lafayette Artwalk - Downtown Lafayette, LA 70501
    Once a month, Downtown Lafayette comes to life as shops and galleries showcase local art, culture, and performance. Lafayette Artwalk takes place on the second Saturday of every month, rain or shine. Expect dazzling live music and street performances, superb art and craft vendors, and a lively festival-like atmosphere. Lafayette Artwalks are also great opportunities to visit Lafayette open houses and explore Downtown Lafayette's great restaurants and boutiques.

  • Lafayette Art Association & Gallery - 1019 Auburn Ave, Lafayette, LA 70503
    Since 1959, the Lafayette Art Association & Gallery has been one of the leading art organizations in Acadiana. Operated primarily through member donations and dedicated volunteer staff, the organization maintains several art studio spaces and galleries that showcase the very best local and regional art. The main gallery location in Downtown Lafayette hosts art workshops and classes for kids and adults, and also includes a gift shop where member artwork can be purchased. 

  • Acadiana Center for the Arts - 101 W Vermilion St, Lafayette, LA 70501
    The Acadiana Center for the Arts has been fostering art and culture throughout the Lafayette area for 50 years. Founded by a group of passionate artists in 1975, the Center for the Arts highlights fine art and visual art as well as theater, dance, and film. The onsite art gallery displays an ever-changing array of curated exhibits and art shows, while the 2,200-seat Heymann Performing Arts Center hosts a wide range of performances, including the Louisiana Crossroads live music series.

  • Sans Souci Fine Crafts Gallery - 549 Jefferson St, Lafayette, LA 70501
    The flagship gallery of the Louisiana Crafts Guild, the Sans Souci Fine Crafts Gallery is one of the best places in Louisiana to shop for local and regional arts and crafts. Located in the heart of Downtown Lafayette, the gallery sells and displays exclusively the work of Louisiana Crafts Guild members, ensuring that every item—from paintings and prints to jewelry and clothing—is handmade, local, and unique.

  • University of Louisiana at Lafayette - 549 Jefferson St, Lafayette, LA 70501
    With its outstanding arts and theater programs, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette brings a tremendous variety of culture to the Lafayette area. Several gallery spaces on campus, including the 2,500-square-foot Fletcher Hall Gallery, display student works as well as traveling exhibitions and faculty artwork. Performing arts facilities on campus include Burke Theatre, a proscenium stage with seating for 200-plus audience members, and the 800-seat Ducrest-Gilfry Auditorium.
